Mission and Vision

At Parker and Hay, LLP, our mission is to provide outstanding legal representation to protect our clients’ success and to help our clients attain greater success. Our vision is to assist our clients to prepare for greater success in good times, and to be prepared for bad times to protect the success they have achieved.

History

After practicing together for over seventeen years in a large Topeka firm, Stanley R. Parker and Deanne Watts Hay decided they would chart their own course and, in 1999, founded the law firm of Parker & Hay, LLP. Together, Stan and Deanne have over fifty years of experience representing clients in state and federal courts as well as in administrative proceedings throughout the Midwest. In 2001, Ron Martinek joined the firm, and the following year Tim Shultz was added. The partners of Parker & Hay have developed a legal team that provides outstanding legal representation to individuals and businesses. This legal team has over 100 years of combined legal experience.
Since its inception, our firm has continued to grow and today our expanding legal team represents dozens of clients throughout the region.

Philosophy

Parker & Hay’s “Proactive Counsel” - “Prepare when times are good, prepared when times are bad.

Parker & Hay helps our clients recognize and anticipate tomorrow’s legal issues before they become today’s crises. Whenever possible, we communicate future areas of concern in order to help our clients avoid or minimize unwanted legal problems. We believe trouble avoided is always better than trouble overcome.

Big business or small, professional or entrepreneurial “mom and pop,” a shifting legal landscape shouldn’t threaten our clients’ success.
