Matt Patterson

   Matt P. Patterson graduated from Friends University of Wichita in 1996 with a bachelor degree in business administration and a minor in management.  He received his Juris Doctorate from Washburn in 2000, and was admitted to the bar the same year.

   Initially, Mr. Patterson spent a short period of time in private practice focusing primarily on criminal defense.  After private practice, he joined the Shawnee County District Attorney's Office where he spent three and one half years as a prosecutor conducting jury trials.  He joined Parker & Hay in 2004.

   He is admitted to practice before all courts of Kansas, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Prairie Band of the Pottawatomie Tribal Court.  His practice includes general litigation as well as insurance defense, employment and civil rights law.
