The law firm of Parker & Hay, LLP, was founded in August 1999 by Stanley R. Parker and Deanne Watts Hay.  They made the decision to establish their own firm after practicing together for seventeen years in a larger firm.  Together, they have over forty years of experience representing clients in state and federal courts as well as in administrative proceedings throughout the Midwest. 

Practice Areas

The firm's practice primarily focuses on insurance defense litigation, including employment, tort and contract law.  Parker & Hay, LLP, represents public and private employers, governmental entities, public officials and individuals in all types of employment discrimination and civil rights claims.  The firm also advises clients in preventing such claims and in compliance with recent changes in law and regulations.  In addition, it assists employers in the preparation of forms, handbooks and procedures and in the investigation and resolution of complaints.

The attorneys of Parker & Hay, LLP also focus on financial institution litigation. The firm defends banks, their officers and directors, and the companies that insure them in lender liability litigation.  This work includes tort and contract claims, financial institution bond claims, and negotiable instrument claims under Articles 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code.  We also provide defense work in personal injury, accident and property damage claims, and insurance coverage opinions.

Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (or at other times by special appointments).
